Home Cobia Tarpon Red Fish Spanish Mack Snook Permit

Snook, there is nothing else like it. These fish are one of the slowest growing fish in the bay. They average about 2" a year so a 30" Snook is usually between 10 to 15 years old. These fish are also considered one of the worlds smartest game fish. They are long and slender and built for speed. You usually can't tell how big a fish is when you first hook them because they are so strong. Even the little ones are a blast to catch and the little ones are usually around 22"- 25"

There is always a possibility of catching that big bruiser though and Captain Shawn spends a lot of his time searching for those big fish. A big Snook can get as big as 48" long and weigh as much as 35- 40lbs. They can give you non stop action for hours on end. You owe it to yourself to see the beauty of this legendary fish
